Internal Account Executive DACH

Job and mission

For our DACH activities, we are looking for our new Internal Account Executive! You will be responsible for supporting sales and marketing to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals and generate sales pipeline The Internal Account Executive should understand Stormshield’s overall go-to-market model and be familiar with the Channel Partners and End User Customers

You will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager and be jointly responsible for the success of the sales team.

The position requires the ability to multi-task between team members in their support of different clients, partners, sales opportunities, and other initiatives.

The Internal Account Executive acts as an enabler to remove both internal and external roadblocks and help their staff resolve challenges in support of sales opportunities. You act as a telesales representative who works as part of the sales team.  You contact customers directly by telephone to make sales or support field sales representatives by setting appointments or qualifying prospects.

Furthermore the Internal Account Executive performs leads nurturing by means of direct mailings and telephone follow-up.

You will assist the sales team by producing proposals for new deals as well as renewals, whereby the Internal Account Executive pro-actively is responsible for all renewals

You will also optimize the trainings performed in the DACH market by continuously monitoring the various trainings needs of Channel Partners and End Users and organizing trainings to fulfill this needs. As a part of optimizing the trainings, the Internal Account Executive will also proactively promote and sell trainings.

 

Primary Duties /Responsibilities

  • Primary contact for distributors.
  • Prepares business plans and helps organizing events for distribution and partners
  • Takes care of all projects and accounts raised by the distribution and updates salesforce in order to be able to generate reports easily
  • Create KPI Reports for the sales staff
  • Create the DACH KPI monthly reports
  • Manage Loans appliances (Logistics and Reporting)
  • Manage Demos (License creation and reporting)
  • Overall management of the local marketing collateral
  • Make sure that the Channel is always up to date with the most recent information
  • Help Sales to keep SF up to date (Create new records etc.)
  • Help Sales to organize Customer and Partner Meetings
  • Make follow up calls to resellers who have shown interest during initial contact
  • Handle inbound calls and provide callers with product and service information
  • Respond to pricing enquiries
  • Forward prospects with interest in company’s products to the sales team
  • Act as the primary internal point of contact for customers in the absence of sales
  • Ensure the smooth running of sales process
  • Sales pipeline development/lead development

Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in telesales of complex technical business solutions and strong understanding of the IT business
  • Self-motivation, self-management and professionalism with advanced organizational, negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Superior level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge and a solid understanding of Stormshield competitive domain and technologies.
  • Able to articulate and understand the customer requirements and map these to the Stormshield solution strategy
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Full EU driving license

Regional Manager DACH

Job and mission

The Regional Manager D-A-CH will act as the driving commercial force to develop the business from scratch in the D-A-CH market as well as manage a team of sales and pre-sales people. The Regional manager D-A-CH has a keen capability to identify new business opportunities and/or key partners who can accelerate the growth of Stormshield with its total portfolio in the D-A-CH market.

 

The Regional manager D-A-CH is responsible for all commercial activities in D-A-CH.

 

You will be based in the HQ of Stormshield in Germany, Munich, but extensive travel throughout the region will be required.

 

As an Regional manager D-A-CH, your mission will be:

 

  • Achieve or preferable over-perform a revenue target for D-A-CH
  • Be able to open doors, present, pursue and close deals from mid-management level to C-level and preferably have an active network of business contacts in the IT security domain
  • further develop the D-A-CH market by identifying and closing business opportunities at key end-customers, distributors, systems integrators and/or resellers throughout the region
  • Develop and execute an overall business plan for the region as well as individual plans with key partners
  • Derived from the business plans mention above co-develop, execute, monitor and report on marketing plans throughout the region increasing the brand awareness and number of leads for the Stormshield portfolio
  • Report on a periodic basis to the Sales Director NEE-APAC, based in Paris, about the achieved results and forecasts for the remainder of the financial year

 

 

Profile

Desired Background:

  • Proven track record of achieving or overachieving sales targets working at an international IT Security vendor
  • Experience in building up sales channels as well as direct sales experience to larger end-users
  • Experience in managing a (small) sales team
  • Good commercial knowledge of the IT Security domain, UTM technologies and endpoint protection and data security
  • Acknowledged team-player

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or equivalent education level
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Reporting skills, sales tracking and forecasting with Salesforce
  • Will be required to travel up to 70% of the time
  • Fluent German in spoken word and writing
  • Driving license
  • Munich based
